The Jersey Shore Basketball League is one of the most competitive pro-am summer leagues in New Jersey, drawing top college players and former pros. I directed live broadcasts, operated cameras, and managed real-time graphics to produce high-quality streams that fans could rely on every night. I also assisted in creating social content to showcase the league’s biggest moments and give players exposure beyond the gym. Working with the JSBL pushed me to adapt quickly, balance multiple responsibilities under pressure, and deliver a professional-level product for a passionate basketball community.
Directing & Broadcast Clips
Part of directing at JSBL was making sure the biggest moments didn’t get lost in the flow of the game. These clips capture the intensity of the league’s atmosphere, from dramatic finishes to defining plays, and show how I kept the broadcast focused on the action when it mattered most.
Broadcast Graphics
I operated and managed all live graphics for JSBL broadcasts, from real-time scoreboards and stat lines to pre-game sponsorship slides and lower-thirds for commentators and players. These graphics brought structure and professionalism to the streams, ensuring fans had the same polished viewing experience they’d expect from a pro-level broadcast.
The Jersey Shore Basketball League was a chance for me to step into a live basketball environment with serious talent on the floor and make sure the coverage lived up to it. I directed games, pulled the biggest moments, and kept broadcasts running clean even with a simple setup. It showed me how to adapt, think fast, and still put out a product that fans could take seriously.
